Q. What are your business hours?

Q. I have an emergency - can I renew my passport in less than the one week processing period?

A. Sorry but expeditious passport services are not available at this time. Please contact the office for additional information.

Q. What are Passport processing times?

A. With all required documents submitted, Renewal of/New Passports is accepted in the office of the Consul General. Applications are then sent to Belize for processing. Turn-around time is between 2-3 months.

Q. If I have an immigration appointment, can I get my Passport replaced in less than the ninety (90) day waiting period?

A. Yes expeditious passport service is available. Please contact the office.

Q. Can I apply for a birth certificate at your office?

A. No, a birth certificate can be obtained at the General Registry in Belize only. However, you can obtain a birth certificate application at the Consulate’s office.

Q. How many pictures do I need to submit for a new passport?

A. You do not need to bring any passport pictures with you into the office. Pictures are included in the electronic passport package. Pictures must be taken electronically in the Consulate's office.
