On your cave-tubing adventure you will explore spectacular cave systems, which the ancient Mayans regarded as a sacred underworld and the home to many powerful gods.

Did the zipling/cavetubing combo and had a wonderful time. We were put in groups based on our booking and headed to a decent toyota van. We had a group of 11 and had a comfortable (1hr) ride to the "office" to pay. We did the zipline portion first which was my kids favorite activity. The guides were great and gear was nice/reliable. Total of 5 lines through the jungle was very cool. From there, headed to the cavetubing and had a chance to change prior to walking the 1 mile to cave. This was a little challenging as we had 5 kids in our group, it was past lunch and we failed to bring snacks. Once we arrived at the drop in, everyone perked up and had a nice float. The caves were neat, but I think this is a once and done activity for my family.

We had used this company before and it was GREAT. We brought our friends back this time and felt a little ripped off. They only had us on half to zip lines and the meal was thrown at us in styrofoam containers as we had to eat on the bus (no rum punch as advertised.) They said it was cause they were busy. Not sure that's our problem.they need to add staff. We were disappointed.

Fabulous experience! Alert driver, Walter, knew where all the speed bumps were and slowly traversed them. Also served as one of two guides during the tubing. Roberto was a hoot! Grand sense of dry humor, very knowledgeable with the local area plants, animals, society, government, economy. 35 minutes frompier to the office where we paidfor the excursion. About 5 minutes from there to the start point of the hike to the "put-in" point. Tubes waiting for us at the "put-in" point (we saw other tubers lugging their tubes along the trail). Well over an hour on the float portion of the excursion. 14 tubes tied together for the underground river float seeing wonderful bits of scenery in the form of stalagmites. Each tuber had a helmet with a light on it and a lifejacket. Never had a claustrophobic feeling. Roberto was a great guide as we floated along. After the pull out of the river we were driven back to the office for a delicious chicken and rice lunch that was included in the price of the excursion. This is a nice family owned business and quite possibly the best excursion value we have ever experienced in many years of travel.

We had an excellent time on this tour. It was difficult for me to decide between Butts up and Valentino Reyes, and at first I emailed Valentino's and never got a response, so that was a clear sign. Butts up responded to me the same day, and it was cheaper! $35 USD per person, which is AMAZING for what you get! It was easy to find them, and since we got there early we got back way ahead of schedule so we were able to shop! The tour was great, the guides were great and able to answer any questions we had about Belize. It was really clear that they loved their country and were proud of it, which was so nice to see and experience. We had a great walk through the rain forest, and didn't have to carry our tubes. We didn't have big spray, so they gave it to us which was really sweet! Our tour was great, really fun and relaxing. Then we had lunch at their headquarters. The entire thing was a great experience, well planned and timed. We loved it and would suggest them to anyone!

This was a super excursion combination. Our lead guide Elvis Usher was Over The Top. He provided a non-stop narrative about Belize during the 1 hour 10 minute ride to the park where we would do the excursion. Be advised we rode in an old Blue Bird brand yellow school bus with AC. It was OK. The cave was impressive as was the narration about the cave that was provided by Elvis. He placed our Safety above anything else. We highly recommend this excursion. Note: We had 1.5 hours left to shop after we returned to Belize before it was our time to be back on board the ship.

About an hour drive - ours was not scary at all, like other reviews have said. Hike through forest, across river to where you get on your tube. Guides were great, telling all about Belize and the plants & animals. Never felt rushed. Water was "refreshing" (cool), and caves were awesome! Had a delicious lunch of chicken & rice with fruit punch. Nice people everywhere.

The bus ride was long (1 1/2 hours each way) and bumpy. Not comfortable. The walk after the bus ride was difficult with many inclines and steps. Not for everyone. The tubing was good but didn't last long. The food after the tubing was excellent. Our guide Norman Brickman was excellent.

We booked Cave Tubing Only with the idea that after tubing we would be taken back to the port-At least that is what we were told. Others booked cave tubing and Zip or ATV. In the end we were told we had to wait for the others. So a few hours wasted. The cave tubing was fantastic and YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CARRY YOUR TUBE THROUGH THE JUNGLE. Much better value than those offered by cruise line
