Sibun River, Belize

This adventurous and exciting tour consists of an hour's drive from Belize City to the site in a late model air conditioned van or bus. Upon arrival at the site, you will be taken on a nature hike through the jungle. Along the trail you will be shown the flora and fauna as well as herbs used for medicinal purposes by the ancient Mayas. After the hike, you will enter a tunnel, floating on an inner tube, where you will be entering a system of caves at the Cave Branch River. The tour takes approximately two hours. You will then return to Belize City with a lunch stop at a local restaurant. This is a guided tour and includes headlamp, dry bag, inner tube as well as lunch and entrance fee.

Things to bring along on this adventurous tour: towel, comfortable walking shoes, mosquito repellent and extra set of clothes to change as this is a wet tour.
